CAK is a non-profit organization which provides a full-service premier soccer club focused on the development of individual players and teams within the club and has been in existence for nearly 30 years. The clubs players and coaches are drawn from the local communities of Stark, Summit, Tuscarawas and Wayne counties. CAK has an exciting and experienced coaching staff, a dedicated executive board, and many fantastic teams at all ages.
The Canton-Akron Soccer Club program was created to further the development of committed and advanced players. The club’s primary objective is PLAYER DEVELOPMENT that emphasizes fun, enjoyment and learning while challenging the players to reach their full potential. The program will follow established development models from the United States Soccer Federation in addition to utilizing development strategies from across the globe.
The ultimate goal of the program is to provide competitive performance while focusing on developing skills and abilities. The objectives insure that players will have a rewarding experience while gaining valuable insight that will help them on and off the field for years to come.
So the Sports Dome felt more like an igloo tonight but the kids and coaches were working hard and having fun!
CAK matches at the dome are cancelled on Friday night (Jan 12).
